Would your organisation like to host the Skellern Lecture & JPMHN Lifetime Achievement Award?

Expressions of interest to host the event can be submitted to the panel on an annual basis.  If there is more than one proposal to host the lecture, then the panel will look across the proposals and members will vote on their preference.

For anyone thinking about hosting the following information might be helpful (these guidelines will be subject t up-dating):

i) Lecture theatre/room hire is arranged by the host organisation.  Catering and refreshment costs covered by Skellern Trust Fund

ii) Organisations will need to dedicate a small amount of admin time and support (for room bookings, catering, tech support) and if possible identify student ambassadors for support on the evening.

iii) There is no burden to the organisation in terms of web support, and information about the event will be disseminated through www.skellern.info, also via Twitter and other forums.  Organisation are able to advertise the event locally as they see fit.

iv) Representatives from host organisations will be invited to sit on the panel (if they do not already do so).

vi) Venues need to provide information on access, public transport and local hotels.
